The grip of sin can be very strong

It satisfies fleshly desires

and it can be enslaving...

when we know no one can see us

and the desire to indulge is so strong, we easily give in

slaves to the sins that so easily besets us

then the guilt comes and it is stronger

"O God, I have let you down again", we may say

"How can I sing halleluyah and lift up holy hands in your sanctuary now"?

But, there is power in the name of Jesus

to break every chain!
When we depend on Him

When we call on Him

He will strengthen...He will guide, and then

We can stand strong and boldly sing our Halleluyah!

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death... Romans 12:1 and 2
